A downloadable game


Spellwoven is a passion project, mid-fantasy MMO by me, a solo indie developer and enthusiast. My influences include, but not limited to Baldur's Gate series, Wu-Tang Clan, Forgotten Realms, Shadowbane, Ultima Online, EQ & Brad, Monsters&Memories, Dark Age Of Camelot, Lineage 2, D&D and DDO. 

I work on this game in my free time in hopes of achieving enough progress to have a playable foundation. Since this is currently a side project for me, as I  work a full time job, development is slow. Creating a basic MMO foundation is my goal and if any developers would like to team up and collaborate then please reach out to me. 

Built in Atavism/Unity 6 URP. Most of my graphical assets are credited to solo 3d artists Aquarius Max and Kimset.

I'm writing a complete game story and NPC character backgrounds. It happens in my Game Design Doc where I detail character core traits, strengths, flaws, appearance, posture & presence. This helps me to craft more detailed and engaging quests and dialog. It's also critical for building a world around. How would you know what kind of game you're making if you don't have the base for that world? 

Setting:

Spellwoven unfolds in Ondurn, a fantasy realm entering the Second Age. Long ago, magic thrived across the lands, shaping kingdoms, cities and the destinies of mortals. But after centuries of war and catastrophe, magic was nearly forgotten, reduced to myth and legend.

Elves have rediscovered magic, sourcing its power from crystal gemstones imbued with arcane essence. These crystals can store magical properties, which are then inscribed into tomes by the Elves’ master teachers. Humans have been allowed to study under them, gaining partial mastery, though their magic is weaker. Other races such as Orcs, Dwarves, and Goblins, now covet these crystals, stirring tension and conflict across Ondurn.
